Welcome to Canaan Charitable Ministries. At the moment, this ministry is soley funded by the efforts of one man ALONE, a man called Jacob.
Jacob is a Nurse, who works all day in the Emergency room as a surgical nurse, then goes home and works for a Nursing agency to provide relief for those who need home care.
He works 20 hour days so that he can provide the funds to support 12 young orphans back in his hometown in India.
Why would a young man take on such a venture? He tells me that it is because he was helped along the way by the kindness of strangers. If it wasn’t for the charity of others, he wouldn’t have been able to go to the schools he did, and graduate to live his dream. So Jacob, feels the need to help these boys.
I hope that you do too. I am going to encourage Jacob to relay stories to you from home and add more pictures of the kids at school and at play so you can see where your dollars go. This may be one of the only charities i KNOW , where you can accompany Jacob home, to meet each and everyone of these children. What an incredible young man, what an amazing deed. You see, it’s true. One man can make a difference to the world.
